31 July
Senigallia – OSTRA – ARCEVIA

Between art, history and spirituality
The first stage of our itinerary is the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Rose in Ostra where the most important ex voto collection is located. The votive tablets have always expressed religiosity and faith in the miracles of the popular classes. The second stage, after the break for the tasting, is the Collegiate Church of San Medardo in Arcevia. Here we find the most fascinating collection of ceramics of the Marches composed of the works of Della Robbia: Andrea, Giovanni and fra Mattia. In the Collegiate Church of San Medardo there are also two extraordinary works by the great Renaissance artist Luca Signorelli: The Polyptych of San Medardo and the Baptism of Christ.

6 AUGUST
CASTELLEONE DI SUASA – CORINALDO

A TIME MACHINE
In the first part of the excursion we visit the very well preserved remains of the ancient Roman city of Suasa in Castelleone di Suasa with the beautiful Domus Coiedii.
In the second part, after the break for the tasting in the cellar, the excursion will reach Corinaldo, where it will be possible to see the findings of an ancient Piceno prince with interesting objects of equipment exposed in the local
Civic Art Collection Claudio Ridolfi.

8 August
Senigallia – CORINALDO – ARCEVIA

STAGE VAL MIVOLA
The Teatro Comunale Carlo Goldoni of Corinaldo was built between 1861 and 1869 to replace the old and no longer adequate theater, designed by Alessandro Pasqui of Florence, was very spacious and functional. Completely renovated in 2006 it retains the charm of that time. After the visit, the itinerary continues with a tasting at the small village of Piticchio (Arcevia) that houses an authentic jewel: the small private theatre built in 1849 by Count Giovanni Battista Carletti Giampieri in neoclassical style. Despite its small size, this noble theatre retains the scenic impact of larger theatres.
