War Memorial in Ripe

A brick arch and an elegant wrought iron gate, decorated with symbols of war such as daggers, helmets, eagles and shields, mark the entrance. Inside, four marble plaques commemorate the fallen, while a scroll commemorates Giovanni Secchiaroli, Gold Medal. Although almost hidden by the imposing castle, the chapel is a valuable example of architectural restoration, as well as being an important place of remembrance for the community.
