21° Edition
The Onion Festival takes place in Castelleone di Suasa in the first weekend of September. Just listen to the music and let your children play games while you follow the food paths to taverns where you can enjoy the typical dishes of Castelleone with the famous “Suasa Onions”.
...Inserted in the list of traditional products of the Marche Region, the Onion of Suasa represents one of the historical peculiarities of the Castelleone di Suasa area to such an extent that its citizens are jokingly defined as “cipollari”.
For some years the festival has become one of the most popular events in the valley and has recently been recognized as a “quality festival”. In addition to the food stands with curious and succulent recipes, which allow you to taste the onion cooked in many different ways and to taste other typical products of the Castelleonese area such as wine, oil and honey, there will be shows, concerts, play areas for the little ones, local agricultural and artisan products markets and the inevitable closing show with fireworks.
