Variety of sour cherries, similar to sour cherries produced by visciolo.
Usually reduced in syrup to which the must is added to obtain the so-called sour cherry wine produced in the Serra de Conti area.
It is a not too sweet wine, with a pleasantly bitter aftertaste, a tasting and dessert wine, suitable for pairing with dry pastries (cantucci and sour cherry wine are a formidable combination), ciambellone ( typical sweet from the Marche region) and ice cream.
