The story tells that it was the nuns of<strong> Santa Maria Maddalena of Serra de&#8217; Conti<\/strong>, a town in the province of Ancona, who created the cheese pizza. Initially it was born as a savory cake, based on a mixture of flour, cheese, eggs, oil and pepper, lard. Over the years it has assumed the characteristics of today, namely those of a gastronomic panettone.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-27288\" src=\"https:\/\/www.valmivola.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/pizza-marchigiana-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"443\" height=\"665\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.valmivola.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/pizza-marchigiana-683x1024.jpg 683w, https:\/\/www.valmivola.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/pizza-marchigiana-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.valmivola.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/pizza-marchigiana-768x1152.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.valmivola.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/pizza-marchigiana-1024x1536.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.valmivola.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/pizza-marchigiana.jpg 1365w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 443px) 100vw, 443px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1 kg of flour or soft wheat<br \/>\n8 whole eggs<br \/>\n250 g of olive oil<br \/>\n150 g of brewer\u2019s yeast<br \/>\n250 g of grated Pecorino Romano<br \/>\n250 g of grated Parmesan cheese<br \/>\n200 g of milk<br \/>\n10 g of salt<br \/>\n10 g of black pepper<br \/>\n300 g Pecorino Marchigiano fresh in pieces<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to prepare pizza with Marche cheese<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dissolve the yeast in milk.<\/p>\n<p>Mix the eggs, oil, yeast dissolved in milk.<\/p>\n<p>Add salt, chilli and grated cheese to the flour and gradually add it to the dough.<\/p>\n<p>Knead until a homogeneous, soft and workable mass is reached; it will take 15\/20 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Let the dough rest at least 30 minutes (puncture).<\/p>\n<p>Make the parts and put them in the appropriate containers by adding the fresh pecorino cheese in at least 5\/6 large pieces.<\/p>\n<p>Allow to rise at least an hour or more, until the dough doubles.<\/p>\n<p>Bake at 180\/190 \u00baC for 56\/60 minutes and remove from the oven when it reaches a nice amber colour.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pizza &#8211; or cheesecake &#8211; is basically a salty panettone, which was once consumed exclusively during the Easter breakfast.
