with the Folkloristic Group “Macinino Scacciapensieri” and with the Centenary Concert Society of Serra de’ Conti from 6:00 pm in the Historic Centre with polenta in Piazza della BONA USANZA and with the traditional wine stand of the PRO LOCO
The Song of the Pasquella, found in the documents of the Monastery of S. Maria Maddalena di Serra de’ Conti, is an original text composed by Sister Maria Virginia Donzelli, a nun of the same Monastery.
It is performed through the streets of the town by a group of itinerant singers accompanied by the accordion.
Once the begging song is over, in Piazza Matteotti, there will be a plate of hot polenta and good wine for all those present.
