5:00 PM Children’s workshop: “On the Broomstick” at the Museum of
Monastic Arts.
6:00 PM Easter Monday Song with the Folklore Group “Macinino
Scacciapensieri” and with the Centenary Concert Society of Serra de’
Accounts
in the historic center with polenta in Piazza della Bona Usanza and with the
traditional Pro Loco wine stand.
The Song of the Pasquella, found in the documents of the Monastery of S.
Maria Maddalena di Serra de’ Conti, is an original text composed by
Sister Maria Virginia Donzelli, nun of the same Monastery.
It is performed through the streets of the town by a group of itinerant singers
accompanied by the accordion.
Once the begging song is over, in Piazza Matteotti, there will be a dish
of hot polenta and good wine for everyone who attended.
