L’Approdo is a tribute to the life and work of the renowned Italian photographer Mario Giacomelli.
The performance explores the interaction between images, movement, and music, evoking the atmospheres and recurring themes in the artist’s photographs. Giacomelli’s iconic images—featuring landscapes, portraits, and his explorations of rural life and the passage of time—come to life on stage through dance, music, and video projections, with the valuable contribution of the heirs who manage the artist’s photographic archives.
