Domenica 25 novembre ore 17.30 al Museo Nori De' Nobili a Ripe di Trecastelli
On November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the City of Trecastelli presents the IL CORAGGIO DI CAMBIARE campaign, a series of events dedicated to raising awareness of gender-based violence.
The event is promoted and conceived by the City of Trecastelli, the Department of Culture, and the Nori De’ Nobili Museum. The calendar will open with the inauguration of the exhibition “BETWEEN IDENTITY AND GAZE – Young Visions on the Feminine”, curated by Stefano Schiavoni and Simona Zava, which will be held at the Nori De’ Nobili Museum on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 5:30 pm.
The exhibition, proposed by the Trecastelli Youth Council, focuses on young artists’ perspectives on the role and identity of women. On Sunday, November 23, at 5:30 pm, the film C’È ANCORA DOMANI, co-written, directed by, and starring Paola Cortellesi, will be screened at the Multipurpose Center on Via Valliscie in Ripe.
On Tuesday, November 25, at 5 pm, Villino Romualdo will light up orange during ORANGE THE WORLD, the international campaign for the prevention of violence against women. On Sunday, November 30th, there will be DO NOT CLOSE YOUR EYES, the seventh awareness walk.
Departure is scheduled at 9 am from Ripe (intersection of via Vallisce and via San Moro), arriving at the Monterado Anti-Violence Help Desk. Along the way, the recital-show “The (Dis)Honorable – Stories of Ordinary and Institutional Machismo from ’45 to Today” is planned, curated by the Le Gine² company.
The initiative is organized in collaboration with the Trecastelli branch of the National Association of Italian Partisans (ANPI). Participation in all initiatives is free to enter.
