Don’t miss the Sagra dell’Oca (Goose Festival) scheduled from 16 to 20 August in Ostra Vetere.
Typical dishes and five themed evenings under the banner of fun with one main objective: rediscovering the ancient peasant traditions of the Marche region. The Ostra Vetere Goose Festival takes place in a highly evocative location, the ‘Le Muracce’ archaeological park, and will allow visitors to relive fragments of the daily life of our ancestors. On the table, the great protagonist will be the goose, with tagliatelle with goose sauce and roast goose with potatoes, to be tasted together with other delicacies such as crescia baked with rosemary and onion. The Goose Festival offers musical performances and entertainment in an area full of charm that makes the festival one of the most evocative of the Marche summer.
