ITINERARY
Students from the Ugo Foscolo Middle School will guide participants through the discovery of the TERRA DI MONTENOVO MUSEUM COMPLEX, which is being specially opened by the Municipality for the FAI Autumn 2024 Days. In addition to the ancient monastery of the Poor Clares of Santa Lucia, which houses the museum, you can admire the Antiquarium of the Roman City of Ostra, connected to the archaeological area of ancient Ostra, where rare amphora burials of triplets are on display. The tour will continue with a visit to the Sister Maria Crocifissa Satellico Civic-Parish Art Gallery, a visit to the collection of the Marulli Farm, which used the monastery as its headquarters between the late ‘800s and early ‘900s, and finally a visit to the church of Santa Lucia, with a precious ‘700 organ.
