Bello è meglio di Bullo!

On Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 3:30 PM, the City of Trecastelli is organizing the Conference “Bello è meglio di Bullo!” – A gentle project on knowledge, prevention, and reduction of bullying and cyberbullying.

The Conference, which will take place in the town of Ripe, at the Multipurpose Center on Via Vallisce, is part of a comprehensive project involving the Nori De’ Nobili Comprehensive Institute, together with teachers, parents, students, and families. The project, promoted by the Department of Culture and the Department of Social Services of Trecastelli, is being carried out in collaboration with the volunteer organization My Life Design, which operates through social projects in various fields, applying the My Life Design method developed by Daniel Lumera, and has the patronage and support of the Commission for Equal Opportunities between Men and Women of the Marche Region.

The Bello è meglio di Bullo! meeting of October 28th is carried out in synergy with the Carabinieri, Postal Police, psychologists, philosophers, psychotherapists, teachers and social workers.

The project, which is aimed at the entire community, is designed to be developed in several phases. For the part concerning the School, the Comprehensive Institute was asked to apply the My Life Design® method, with the active and formative participation of the Association of the same name. For the section concerning the Trecastelli Municipal Administration, the promoter of the entire project, in addition to supporting the School in the implementation phases of the project itself, meetings and conferences dedicated to the topic are planned, aimed at the educational community, in order to create a true path for developing self-awareness. The Conference aims to raise public awareness of the phenomenon of bullying and cyberbullying and, in addition to analyzing the family and social contexts in which it develops and manifests itself and to explore possible areas of intervention, it aims to place emphasis on the social value of kindness and on recent discoveries in neuroscience which confirm the importance of developing kind communication, effective in countering aggression and the behaviors that arise from it at its root, both in children and adults.

The October 28th event will open with Institutional Greetings from Mayor Marco Sebastianelli, Councilor for Culture Liana Baci, and Councilor for Social Services Eleonora Lozza. Immediately afterward, Valeria Pompili, Head of the Education Area of My Life Design ODV and Trainer of the My Life Design Educational method, will speak on Gentle Communication – The Ecological Mind as an Antidote to Bullying. Captain Felicia Basilicata, Commander of the Senigallia Carabinieri Company, will then speak with Data Analysis – the Carabiniere alongside the citizen in the fight against bullying. Felicia Gorgoglione, Chief Superintendent of the Pesaro Postal Police, will discuss A Life as a Social Worker; while Paola Manoni, Social Worker and Family Mediator for the Le Terre della Marca Senone Union, will focus on synergistic connections and relationships between social actors. Paolo Bartolini, Philosopher Analyst and Trainer, will speak with Bulli si diventa: Some sociocultural coordinates; Stefania Corinaldesi, Clinical Pedagogist, Family Consultant, Family Mediatrix; and Elena Negri, Psychologist, Gestalt Psychotherapist, both from Studio Tangram Senigallia, will discuss Prevention and Feeling Competent in Your Own and Others’ Emotional Lives and Feeling Content in Your Community. Professor Fiorella Argentati, professor of literature and second collaborator of the Director of the Nori De’ Nobili Comprehensive Institute in Trecastelli with La Scuola and the project on Kindness, will conclude the series of presentations.

Mauro Pierfederici will moderate the Conference. Participation is free.
