2023 Edition
Absolutely not to be missed is the initiative “Una domenica andando per primi” (A Sunday going for Pasta), which will be held on Sundays in October in the beautiful town of Arcevia. For the occasion, the best first courses of the Marche tradition can be tasted in the restaurants of the town and its 9 castles.
Arcevia’s cuisine, typical of the Marche region, is based on locally produced genuine foods, the fruit of a gastronomic heritage rich in history and tradition thanks to its excellent location between the Apennine mountain chain and the Adriatic Sea. Wheat, spelt, Mays Ottofile di Roccacontrada, broad beans, chickpeas, rye, barley, chickling vetch, chestnuts, buckwheat are some of the ingredients used in the dishes offered by participating restaurants.
The initiative is an excellent opportunity to visit the Arcevia area with its nine castles, the old town centre, the San Francesco Cultural Centre, home to the State Archaeological Museum and the art collections dedicated to Edgardo Mannucci and Bruno d’Arcevia, the Church of San Medardo with two works by Luca Signorelli, the Church of San Francesco, the Church of Sant’Agata, the Municipal Theatre and the Giacomo Leopardi Garden, and the Toy Museum in Piticchio.
