On the occasion of the M.A.D. Mail Art Day 2024 project, two events will be held at the MAM Museum of Modern Art and Mail Art in Montecarotto (AN) and the Musinf Museum of Modern Art, Information, and Photography in Senigallia, curated by Ruggero Maggi and Stefano Schiavoni, respectively.

At MUSINF Sala Bugatti in Senigallia, the exhibition “Io e Ruggero Maggi – GAC” will be presented by Stefano Schiavoni, featuring works by the two Italian mail artists, who share a deep friendship. This new exhibition project renews and strengthens their established collaboration, maintaining a partnership that will be developed operationally in the near future, through collaboration between the two museums. It will showcase a selection of works by key international mail art figures from Musinf’s archive in Senigallia and highlight the M.A.D. Mail Art Day 2024 initiative.
The event will also feature a video presentation with a brief history of mail art, created by Ruggero Maggi in 2021 for Il Tavolo dei “postali”, organized by Fabio Bonacina, the Italian Philatelic Press Association, the online newspaper Vaccari News, the Italian Institute of Historical Studies “Aldo Cecchi,” and the Historical Museum of Communication.
