...The Town Hall took on its current form in the 17th century, while the interior was defined in the post-unitary years. The civic tower, designed by the Ostresi Michele Corazzini and Gerolamo Arcangeli was built in 1569 by Francesco da Modena and is equipped with a bell of 1643. In the municipal residence there are interesting finds and works of art; at the middle of the access staircase is a metric table from 1560; elegant old council room (now waiting room), with beautiful decorations to the ceiling. The building also houses some historical memorabilia, including an autograph by Giuseppe Garibaldi addressed to the photographer Pavia, a gift from fellow citizen Lino Lauretani. The complex underwent major alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries.
