Museum of Toys

The MuseoGiocando Museum in Piticchio is the richest and most well-documented of its kind in Italy. In addition to numerous dioramas and six large, fully functional model railways from various eras (including one dating back to the 1930s!), its collection, displayed over an area of 800 square metres, includes more than 4,500 vintage toys, model railways and models of road vehicles, spanning more than a century and a half of history.
Each object is marked with a numerical code through which, using a tablet or smartphone, one can access the vast documentation about it.
