The Church of Sant’Antonio al Borgo and Palazzo Peruzzi are considered places of worship entrusted to the care of the brotherhood of SS. Sacrament, the structure has a beautiful painted wooden ceiling and a sixteenth-century fresco depicting the Madonna del Soccorso. The building that houses the church built by Giovanni Battista Peruzzi took on its current form at the beginning of the 18th century.
...Incorporated in an imposing seventeenth-century building is Sant’Antonio al Borgo, once the mother church of the confraternity of SS. Sacramento. Inside, the wooden ceiling and a sixteenth-century fresco depicting the Madonna del Soccorso. From this church come some small paintings, now kept in the Civic Museum Parish. The suburban palace was designed by Giovanni Battista Peruzzi, abbot of Santa Maria di Piazza and assumed its current form at the beginning of the 18th century following the marriage between Margherita Peruzzi and Marcantonio Maurizi.
